SIT - Systematic Inventive Thinking as a method is based on a well-defined process in which our knowledge of innovation thinking is merged with our client's expertise.
The process consists of five main steps:
1. Analysis of the baseline situation and the innovation status quo.
2. Learning from experts the innovative model, which is based on SIT tools and principles.
3. Creation of feasible innovative ideas and approaches.
4. Transfer of ideas into detailed concepts that can be implemented.
5. Definition of customer-specific values based on market communication.
The core of the SIT method is a set of thinking tools that help its users to break mental fixations. The method builds on the fact that successful innovation is based on common patterns. Through the investigation of about 1 million successful new products, processes and services, these patterns were identified and are implemented in the SIT method. SIT applies the method to generate unique ideas that can be easily implemented. This will be precisely those ideas that build on existing resources and therefore can enter the market most quickly and efficiently.
